Of course, the leader or the guide fulfils more duties and more
activities, so the ignorant in such courses must not think that this is
the only task. So it’s important to warm them by saying that this
strategy is just for the beginners where as the intermediate and the
advanced ones perform an advanced and more sufisticated course or task.
Thus, the beginner may watch through the connection and deep
relationship some inner sights and situations, he shouldn’t be
deceived by and doesn’t have to be satisfied by believing that this is
the whole knowledge course, so he deviates as it sometimes happens.
Allah says “Woman Yaashu An Thikre Errahmani, Nukayed Lahou Shaitanan
Fahuwa Lahou Kareem” means: The one who deviates from the true
teachings of Allah, Allah punishes him by letting the Devil controls his
behavior. Allah says: “Waennlahum Layasuddunahum Ane Essabeel
Wayahsabouna Annatum Muhtadoun”, means: Thos devils mislead the men
away from the true course, but they think that they are following the
right true course. [Zukhruf Chapter verse# 36-32].
The beginner is different from that Allah says “Wakad
Khalakakum Atwara”. [Noah Chapter verse # 14], means: Allah created
men, all according to stage, which is emphasized by this saying “The
courses to Allah count the selves of the creatures”. But the
worshipping and the knowledge of Allah, the truth don’t mean that each
one can establish his own course or his own strategy neglecting and
disregarding the Islamic legislation strategy, because if this happens,
the individually will certainly end up in the deviation.
Obviously, the struggle through the courses, and the perseverance
for the sake of this perfect legislation is beyond any deviation,
otherwise the follower is either deviated or ignorant. What is meant by
the variety of courses due to the variety of selves is due to their
internal pure readiness, to their status, and to their ranks and to the
perseverance just for Allah satisfaction. Thus, man exerts sincere
effort for purifying the self from the manly vices as well as from
immoral manners to gain the ethics and morals of the ideal prophet. May
Allah have mercy and bless upon him, as well as upon his descendants,
and companions alos one reaches through studying, learning,
comprehending and illustrating as our prophet says: “Talk to people
according to their comprehensive mental level”. In another speech
“We, prophets, talk with people according to their mental
abilities”.
We, confidentially, declare that according to their readiness,
effort, meditation, advertency, dependence level and according to their
wise instructor who doesn’t mix up between the duty of the beginner
with that of the intermediate or the advanced. “The purifying
speech” book is a book is read by the advanced ones in sufism. The
beginner’s occupation in any subject beyond his internal thoughts and
his readiness is a wasting of time of effort, and above all, of the man
himself.
It should be known that the knowledge, the teaching the
proceeding and the course of the hermits, the followers of the ultimate
courses resemble the sailing in a deep sea, in a fathomless ocean. Where
the swimming and the floating by no-experts in this Islamic legislation
will only lead to death, to pessimism, and to deprivation.
Thus, whoever seeks success and gains excess of lights, he has to
be conducted, perfectly well, by a perfect leader, then he should be a
supplement to his tremendous sea wave and to gain the bright shiny
pearls from its fathoms. So, after contracting the perfect leader
sincerely and submissively and after following the ethics of the
beginners, the beginner has to prostrate in prayer two times, after he
ends his prayer and salutes, before raising himself from his seat,
directing himself toward Al-Kablah in Mecca-nodding his head reading Al-Fatiha
and Ikhlas Chapters, dedicating their rewards to the prophets’ spirits
beginning with Adam, May Allah bless him, reaching our prophet Mohammad,
the last prophet, May Allah have mercy and bless upon them, all and to
the whole companions, leaders, legislators, then to this guide
mentioning their names if he knows, then he has to say – May Allah
have mercy and bless upon our prophet Mohammad – repeating it from
seven to fifteen times – odd numbers – Then he has to ask for
forgiveness thinking of its meaning. Later, according to our prophet’s
saying “Recall, the demolisher of the earthly pleasures – Death 0 It
makes the little, more and the most, he makes it, less”.
It’s death, since thinking in death prepares the individual to
be ready to receive the lights and elevates man from the earthly and
materialistic bounds before adhering to the connection. His heart, then,
becomes ready to join the spirits. Recalling death is the medicine for
the self-diseases. Later, the beginner joins the leader by recalling the
leader’s spirit close to his heart opening his heart-beneath the left
breast – towards the leader’s heart, making it a large pot to pour
his lighting believing that the prophet’s spirit, may Allah have mercy
and bless upon him, dwells in the upper chest of the leader, imagining
the falling of the heavenly lights from Al-Haq merciful sea, He may be
exalted, upon the spirit of prophet Mohammad, May Allah have mercy and
bless upon him, who is the main mediator between the creator and the
creatures, through his heart towards the heart of the leader or guide to
gain the heavenly love. This eternal speculation should be obvious to
come from the spirit of the leader, since the cooperation among the
greats and the exalted ones take place just spiritually, beyond any
physical or concrete attachment.
According to the rule and the behavior of this current, the
person should be closing his eyes to achieve perfect invocation. Suppose
he sees some shapes or structures or shapes during the connection, the
-person follower- should immediately conduct his leader toward that
interruption for defending him to dismiss that scene. If he fails, he
shouldn’t waste time in thinking about that. On the contrary, he has
to ignore and disregard it, continuing his mission as before. If the
spiritual picture of the master of connection – the leader appeared,
where the follower is occupied with the spirit not with the concrete
appearance, then this is okey. If one says, “How can the invocation of
the spirit take place without figuring or imagining the physical
concrete appearance of the leader?”. The answer is that it is similar
to the fragrance of the roses or to the sense of sunlight which
distinguishes objects and has no concrete existence. To clarify that we
say that every individual absolutely believes and admits the existence
of his spirit which dwells his physical body. From the point of view of
the non-believers of the internal world there is no existence of the
spirit, but they believe in the existence of the light spirit, in the
existence of the Lord and the atmosphere. Its external existence is real
by itself, but imagining each structure is beyond the imagination
capacity.
What is essential is that the beginner has to deal due to this
scheme in recalling the supreme power of the connection. It is said that
only the beginners raise such a question. So, they should enter this
course sincerely and submissively preventing any illusion or invalid
structuring to penetrate to his thoughts in order not to irritate his
condition since he’s so sensitive. Later, after a while of his
procession, his condition is promoted and elevated if Allah wills, and
he will be freed and liberated of the mere imitation and imagination and
he sees clearly the eternal world, the new situation, the new emotional
position, which he hasn’t experienced before. There he perceives that
he exists beyond the materialistic concrete world. It’s the abstract
world, comprehending the true nature of objects and the true knowledge
of Allah, Glory be to Him, due to human limits.
In the sufistic world, it’s not allowed to exceed the
traditional limitation even for the great ones. It should be known that
this arrangement is in the first stage, and it’s not obligatory to
imagine in every second that the supreme connection is in its site on
not or whether the flowing lights coming from the spring to his heart
will change or not. This is similar to the farmer’s situation during
the irrigation period. He carries the water from the river or the spring
leading it to the field or meadow. After bringing the water, he
doesn’t have to refer to the spring every now and then, but he has to
irrigate being aware not to bring to himself certain illusions
disturbing his own thoughts. If during the connection some illusions and
ideas immerge and distract the follower’s concentration, he has to pay
attention and return mentally to the connection. The more he is attached
with the connection, it will never let him lose or deviate. He is
already excused in such thoughts which never stop even during the
prayer. During the special connection – he has to sit for half an hour
or more to concentrate. On the other hand, during the permanent
connection the follower doesn’t need such conditions, he has just to
wait. It is obvious that the more he is busy in the invocation, the more
the benefit is. Whenever he wants to invoke internally – recalling
Allah by his heart – he has to (detach) disconnect the connection as
follows:
He has to hold his breath, sticking his tongue while uttering.
Al- with his upper jaw – imagining the utters of Allah, which is the
supreme name using odd numbers, when he needs to take a breath, he has
to stop at odd digit from three to twenty one, and continues while
imagining the meaning of the word Allah, with no example to match.
It is essential to have the determined meaning of Allah during
the invocation to enlighten the heart and to fill it with Allah love and
to remove everything and except Allah. He has to imagine the Name of
Allah as much as he can till he feels pain. This should last for half of
an hour. If the invoker wants either to sleep or to work to earn his
living he has to remain on the internal invocation. He can carry on any
legal task Allah says: “Wakounou Ma’aa Essadekeen” Twaba Chapter
verse # 119, means: Be with the honest ones. “Wala Takun Ma’aa
Elghapheleen”. Aaraf Chapter verse # 205, means: Don’t be with the
advertents. These two verses means that the connection and the internal
invocation are sufficient for the beginners, where as the other steps
are left due to Allah succor and kindness. Allah says: “Wa’en Laysa
Lilinsanni Illa Ma Sa’aa” Al Najm Chapter verse # 39. Strength and
power can only be attained by Allah, The ultimate The supreme. Our last
saying is thank you Allah, the of all mankind. May Allah have mercy and
bless upon our prophet Mohammad and upon his race and all his
companions.
